Abie Abraham at his home in Butler County Pa.

Abie Abraham was born in Lyndora Pa in 1913, During the great depression, he enlisted in the U.S Army, serving with the 14th, 15th, 16th,18th, 30th, and the 31st Infantry Regiments (which was almost wiped out in the defense of the Philippines)

After touring Germany, Abie retired from the army and settled back at his farm in Connoquenessing Township.

In 1994, Abie was honor as a the outstanding Disabled Veteran of the year in Pennsylvania. 

Abie has also volunteered at the Butler Veterans hospital as an honorary member of the U.S Marine Corps.
